You left so suddenly without a word,

Were you calling? We never heard.

That day is etched within my mind,

Like all the memories you left behind.

You lived your life in your own way,

And little gems, would often say…

”No need for a church, for you to pray,

God is with us, every day.”

Religion became a place of comfort,

In your latter years,

We embrace your life Dad,

But still shed many tears.

Now at peace, your life has gone,

Our thoughts of you,

Will carry on …………
